throttle responce sucks
i have a d15b... the guy that did the swap before me has it wired up just like a d16a6...
even when its warmed up and i tap the throttle to wot it dies for a second and than picked up like normal... also does anybody have a problem with a sticky gas pedal only when the car is running when its off the pedal feels normal when i turn it on it feels sticky

That could be caused my buildup on the throttle plate, mine did it too. check it out
is it when you tap the throtle or when you go to wot
also, your 02 sensor could be on the fringe

yeah it can be the build up inside the TB...
u can also looent the nut that holds the TB spring together and tension it back, sometimes when those get old they tension up doing this same issue...

My car did that when i first converted it to multi-point. I changed the o2 sensor and then soldered all my wire connections and got rid of all those butt connectors that i had used previously and the car idled better and had greater throttle response.
