Hey guys, I have a 93 Accord Wagon EX and it has the factory alarm.

I was wondering what a good base model alarm and remote start I could use. I'm totally new to the alarm/remote start job but I figured I could probably get it done.

Another question would be, would it be possible to keep the factory alarm and just add the remote starter?

I open to opinions and suggestions.

Also, yes it is possible to just add remote start and keep the factory alarm. If you go with a basic remote start, you'll have to carry both remotes, but if you get one (like the Viper 160) that has locks, you can integrate (because I believe your car arms and disarms with lock) and only have to carry the remote start remote.
