im guessing you would have to trim the hood since the jdm headlights are longer

i herd it can fit w/o modification, but there will just be a lil gap.

is that true?

Nope it wont fit. The headlights on the JDM front have less of an angle than the USDM ones. The hood is modified to fit this on the JDM version. The US one will just get jambed up on the JDM lights if you try and mount it on there.

I know this isn't a civic but you get the idea with the headlight area. Doesn't work unless you cut the hood.

Try Hmotors... I doubt they'd have anything though. It's worth a shot.

Next time, plan your modifications before-hand.

VIS makes EF8 and EF9 CF hoods. That would probably be your best bet - you can find one of those for sure.

good luck, like stated above i had to pay like $550 shipped, it sucks, especially because theres like a quarter-sized imperfection in the weave , but its worth it in the end...you could always try and get a metal hood...from some jdm wedsite...i dont know...good luck

thats tru. mine had some imperfections too!! damn VIS is getttin sloppy now. My 1st ef8 hood i bought from em was PERFECT . PERFECT fit. all th holes were predrilled. now you have to drill in the spot for your hood prop! cheap bastards.

If your really stuck on using a stock cf hood and your going to be using a civic, just use the cf usdm hood, usdm headlights and filler peice and then a jdm bumper.

not to thread jack but what options would i have for purchasing a CF hood for a 91 4 door with a JDM front end?

DO they even make them? If not who makes custom CF hoods. I dont care how much it costs i want one dammit!!

One more thing....is the CRX JDM Hood similar in length to the JDM 4 door hood? i know the USDM HOod is shorter than the JDM one so i figure it might work??? dont know....
