tranny woes

Default tranny woes

i just put my motor in the car and she runs well, but here is the my big problem any time i try to shift the tranny just grinds, i think i dont have a throw out bearing in the transfer case i hope it is not it but i am going to drop my tranny tomorrow, also what car can i get a throw out bearing from for a cable tranny. wish me luck and any advice on what else it could be would be appreciated

Make sure your clutch cable is adjusted right, you might not be fully disengaging the clutch.

happens even if i pull up on the clutch engament mechanism myself

I feel you bro, my car wont stay in 5th gear for more than a minute with out it being forced back into nuetral. I have no clue on my end either.
