Default 5th gear not going in

this just happened today and i need some help on whats going on.....

when i try to get into 5th gear, its harder to get in and sometimes i have to push it in harder just to get in gear. some of my co workers says to get a transmission flush and put in thicker fluid which ill probably do thursday....

now does anyone have any suggestions or thoughts about whats going on? i mean im kind of upset this is happening where its hard to get into 5th gear...sometimes its easy to get in gear, sometimes it doesnt

thicker fluid will make it worse. start with making sure your hydraulics are up to par, and then make sure your pedal has the correct freeplay.

Check your syncro's.. these allow everything to line up when you depress the clutch, so shifting in/out of gear will be a nice smooth shift...if your having trouble shifting into 5th, mayb your syncro for that gear is out? not 100%...hope that helps
