Default Lightweight Flywheel on my 5th Gen

What up guys. Just want to know if I should go with the Fidanza 8lb. lightweight flywheel, or another kind around 12 lbs. or so because 8 lbs. seems almost too light. I was thinking of the 12 lb. because it will not take as much top end away from me as the 8 lb. will not have as much spinning mass as the 12 lb. Please help me decide guys. Thanks.
And just to be more specific, it is my daily driver, and I will be road racing it on weekends once spring gets here.

What did you type in because I typed in "prelude flywheel" and only 1 result came up and it wasn't what I was looking for. Also, does anyone have any experience with those XTD flywheels on ebay or are they pieces of ****?

I'm rocking the XTD 12lb. flywheel and I've been happy with it so far after ~10 months. I decided to go with the 12lb. after I drove my friend's tiburon with a really light flywheel (I think it was a 7.5 lb.) and didn't care for the feel of it.

The flywheel isn't anything earth shattering as far as performance goes, but I still think it was a good investment.

8lbs is not too light, mine works fine. My room mate has a ~12lb chromoly one and he said he didnt notice a tremendous difference. Even my 8lb one doesn't make it all that quicker, but I still love it. If you're changing your clutch already then go for it if you have an extra $230 laying around, if not then don't bother

So if I get the 8 lb., its not going to hurt my daily driveability any right? And should I go with the XTD Stage 2 clutch and XTD 12 lb. chromoly flywheel kit, or the Exedy OE clutch and Fidanza 8lb. flywheel kit? I just need some opinions please. Thank you.

i have the fidanza in my 5th gen and i love it. it takes some getting used to, just like getting a new clutch. once you get used to it, you don't even think about it. and if you think about it, 8lb flywheels are lighter than 12lb flywheels, so you will have more power, torque, better acceleration and launches.

This is the one I got for my Lude. Its not installed yet. It might take you a day or 2 to get used to the flywheel in traffic. My buddy kept stalling in stop & go traffic. He got the hang of it though.
