Default How to polish???

since my motor is out i wanted to polish my intake runners. inside an out. . just want to smooth it out. i have a dremal but im not sure what are the steps i need to take. can some one gove me some help.

Get some flapper bits with various grit. (150, 220, 400, 600. 800) Work your way up. I'd stop near 220 or 400 grit. Just remove the casting marks.

Nobody is going to see the inside of your intake. Going smoother than 400 grit is a waste of time if you are seeking performance. To put things into perspective, you can polish a crank journal with 400 grit.
