Wheel Tech Question
but depends how you like to drive
i put 17' on my 4th gen with tokico illumina struts and springs
it dropped maybe 1" but ride remains very stiff for those curvy roooooaaddddssss
16's will allow for a bigger sidewalled tire which can help protect a bit from hitting a pothole and bending your rim. I think 17's look better but that's all personal preferance. I's say if your area has a lot of potholes (liek we do in new england) stikc with 16's, but if you want ta clean looking car and can watch out for the occasional pothole, go for 17's
Also 17s are most likely heavier making you slower and as shutta said you'll be more prone to bend your rim on a pothole. It's all about preference, personally I'd rather go with 15-16" rims, but it's your car making it your decision.

The car is red. I'm thinking hyper black in color for the wheels.

I had all sorts of bad luck with Nitto. I had POS Kuhmo's on there, spent the money and got the nitto... all of a sudden going around corners that were NO problem before resulted in my tires squeelin' like a pig.

i'm all for discussions regarding moment of inertia and physics in general, but honestly, the difference in acceleration and braking between a 16 and 17 inch rim in normal driving scenarios is undetectable.
what's more important to size selection are tire choices. can you run the tire you want in the size you want in 16? 17?
and beyond that, it's just preference.
