I'll be there with my car. I'm driving all the way from PA (37-48 hours depending on my route), so nobody else has an excuse why they can't come. Can't wait!

That's nuts! I thought you were kidding... but you sound serious?

And I would think it'd take a lot longer to get to AZ from PA. When I moved from CA to FL it took me like 5 days of driving..?

No, I'm completely serious. Mapquest said about 47 hours and change if we go there directly from here, or about 36 and change if we make a stop somewhere else first And as we know, mapquest usually overestimates...

It is definitely going to be quite the road trip, but I'm up for it.

I'd love to go, but something about a sumped tank over a span of that many miles scares me a bit

Take lots of pics!

Todd/Geoff,

Don't think the new set up will be done in time to have the car there for this years Open House. Last year was hell of fun. I will be just flying in and crashing with you guys. Hotel rooms are slim to none with all the Spring Training going on during this time.

I'm not sure if I'm up for the drive.. But, if I do, can I put my turbo vehicle on display? Edit: Not the City Turbo II again.

Bringing the Dodge Daytona? I thought it crashed when they were filming "The Wraith" out there in `88.

Hah, small world Just got reamed by Todd for not making last years event, so we are thinking about pushing the Lexus out there. Mapquest told me 35 hours, and I dont know if i can behave for that long though Lets drive out, lay down some 9sec passes, party, then back to the grind. Ill give you a shout and see what we can do about a caravan, providing that civic can keep up

They are about a 5-30 minute drive depending on traffic, constuction, etc....

It is only at exit EXIT 153A and Firebird is Exit 162 on I-10.

Look for Hotels in Chandler (Closer to Firebird)

Or Tempe (Closer to Full Race)
