hey guys do you know of anything about that fontana or anyother 1/4 mile tracks in southern california? Im trying to go this season. thanks

 

well im in 92627 and theres nothing around here for miles

 

Carlsbad Raceway/ off Palomar Airport exit (5 freeway)/ $20 to race from 2-6 PM from what I remember.

You mean California Speedway in Fontana? Yeah, they have a 1/4 track. So does Pomona Fairplex. Irwindale has a 1/8 track. Or if you dont mind the drive, you can go to the Palmdale track.

ahem. Carlsbad raceway is now an industrial park. It hasn't operated in a year and a half to two years. The only quarter mile tracks i know of are california speedway and palmdale.

The California Speedway is in Fontana (Inland Empire 909) off of Cherry Ave. from the 10 freeway. You go North off of the 10 freeway.

 

the palmdale dragstrip is in palmdale (desert north east of sd) there are no more quarter mile tracks in sd. sorry. I feel the pain too. Carlsbad was the last one and it sucked. I bottomed out on the drive in and in the return lane on stock suspension. I wouldn't have even gone if i was lowered.

 

los angeles county raceway - 1/4. Palmdale
Irwindale speedway - 1/8. Irwindale
pomona track 1/4. pomona
california speedway - 1/4. Fontana

As for Palmdale, it's nowhere near San Diego. Palmdale is past LA, going towards Magic Mountain, off the 14 freeway.

yeah, we lost Carlsbard Raceway, now they need to replace it with a new track

 

dont the do streel legals at the san diego stadium?? (sorry dont know the name)

 

They do streetlegals at Qualcom but it's only 1/8 mile

 

yeah its a 1/8 which is hella whack. i wish it was a 1/4. they also have barona raceway but sadly its a 1/8 too where is the nearest i can run a 1/4 at in daygo? its jus sad how daygo is so burnt out on racing now. all drag strips are raided
