Default B18b Questions..

Is the b18b1 MOTOR(internal wise) from a 98, the same as one of a 95?

i know they have different manifolds and stuff, but if i were to buy a 95 long block, and put 98 intakemanifold, dizzy...

Will it pass smog? will it still pass as a legit 98?

95 is OBD1. Now if the intake mani, and dizzy would work IDK. But 95 is OBD1

96-98 OBD2A

yeah, just use the bare engine and swap everything else (sensors, covers, IM, TB) from your car and you'll be fine. Everything will bolt on fine.
