Default buzzing sound on deceleration in low gear

I've noticed a buzzing sound only when decelerating in 1st through 3rd gear from mid to high RPMs. It sounds like it's coming from the middle of the car, not the rear end. Anyone else experienced this? 2001 with 40k. It's definately a driveline noise though.

Probably the clutch rattle. It's common and there's a TSB on it.

check on s2ki.. they have all the TSBs.. or call your dealership and they should have the TSB on file. It happened on my '01 as well.

Mine has it too...It's nothing to worry about, it's not damaging. The springs in the clutch disk just vibrate at certain RPM's under deaccelleration.

It's starting to get the best of me...I'll be replacing my clutch soon.

try turning your stereo up

not sure if honda will honor a TSB after the warranty is expired. worth a shot though! Call your dealer and ask.
