Default straight back exhuast

I have a 95cx I was thinking of doing a custom exhaust, straight back onlong the centerline of the car, the only problem is, the gas tank. Running an exhuast pipe under this seems like a bad idea. Although I have seen this and even head of people doing it. Anyone have any trouble with this? Thanks.

Just get a regular exhaust, what your trying to do seems like it will be more of a headache later on.

if you have to do this...
put a heatsheild over the gas tank or get a fuel cell....
and you will most likely have ground clearance issues if your car is lowered at all...

most definitely clearance issues...the gas tank sits pretty low back there as it is and imagine if you want to actually lower your car a bit more...add the piping under that and it's pretty much gonna be scraping the ground.

if it's a street car just go with a regular catback.
