Default 88'civic DX..........won't START!

NO spark NO fuel, just put in brand NEW pump and working distributor, all you here is the car trying to turn over.wierd thing is when you turn the key to accessory, one before you get ready to start, the CHECK eng.light stays on constant and the CHECK eng.light does NOT blink whatsoever in the ECU.we also substituted another working ECU and still NO signs of SPARK/FUEL.last but NOT least told it could be main relay under the dash, also the grounds the chassis might NOT be hooked but those are all grounded.for any INFO that would be GREATLY appreciated............................THANKS!

i was going to say to check your main relay if you don't hear your fuel pump priming.

Chekc your main relay, then check to see if your getting power to the dizzy, could be a fucked up relay. Also, check to see if you have the right firing order. Sounds like your relay is fubarred and your coil is too.
