92 accord
Welp, this week I'll be purchasing a 1992 Accord. It's only got 60,000 something miles on it, and it's an auto. Champagne paint, burgendy iterior :-/. I'm not so thrilled about the colors, but heyy, it's a car that I know for a fact that has never ever been driven hard, and some REAL low miles for that age. Also, I'm getting a killer deal on it. Like it costing about $2000-$3000 for a mint condition coupe. As some of the first things I was planning on doing to the car, were just bolt on things, like a cold air intake, and a new exhaust. I'm a little hesitent on the exhaust though, I don't want that...you know...typical "rice" sound. I just want the performance. Do all exhausts have that sound? This is my first accord, and I'm new to the tuner scene, so that's why I'm here. I figured you guys would know alot more than I would about any of this. Any tips about what I should do to it?
edit :: I was also wondering what were the easiest ways to get some more HP. I think it comes with like 120 or 130 stock? A friend told me to get an intake, throttle body (for response) and a chip. Basically I'd like to get some pointers on how to improve the performance of my car.
Thankssss.
