Default Straight pipes?

I got a 93 civic an I was thinking of fabricating some 2 or 3 inch exhaust straight from my headers to the can No cat no nothing..Good idea Or will a high flow cat be better. I dont need to worry about passing inspection I got hook ups

also the rice factor, im sure that .957 whp gain is worth it to make the car sound like crap and throw more crap in the air than need be.. unless you are boost do yourself a favor and leave the cat on, and i hope your "hook up" gets caught one day

you might have more high end power.
is your civic 1.5 or 1.6?
max you should go is 2.25 in

some all motors can do it but lets face it the normall civic driver that say y0 lets throw a test pipe on normally has a 1.5 or 1.6 sohc and its a stock motor, with the right mufller it would sound ok, ONLY AT THE TRACK i put the test pipe on and with my set up it sounds ok but raspy, its a ricer thing to make your car loud. thats why i refuse to drive with it on the streat i hate loud mufflers as it is

thats gonna be loud as hell...my exhaust broke before the resonator and it was LOUD...i drove it for a week cause my friends said it sounded cool...go to kteller.com...and get a cat...thats my opinion though...

damn 3 inches? you going turbo? i think for your motor 2 1/4 should be fine. im running a custom 2.5 straight pipe on my h22.

Dude...get a 4" exhaust...better yet, DUAL exhaust. No cat. Hell just dont have exhaust, open header.

lol that would suck. but seriously you should just stick with 2.25" or 2.5" max unless you plan on going turbo.

i read somewhere you have to be making somthin like 400hp to even make use of 3" exhaust . basicly your a ricer.

93 civic? if you've still got a single cam in there, its gonna sound like total ****. Not to mention you'll just lose power because you wont have enough backpressure. Don't bother.
