I bought some from my friend in Japan. I got them brand new in the box. They were a little expensive but well worth it. You can get the 88-89 moldings and they are somewhat the same as the JDM ones. You can still put a pinstripe on the 88-89 model. They are a little different from the JDM ones but its not very noticable. The JDm ones are thinner and have a little defferent shape. Good Luck
If you were gonna spend 850 on used ones I am sure I can get you some from my friend for around 400 but I am not sure. They are a lot if you buy them from Japan. They USDM ones are cheap but they are not the same.

Just buy some 88-89 sidemoldings from your honda dealer. Then If you want the stupid pinstripe, add it yourself with a pinstripe kit. The moldings are only like 120 from honda.

There is no difference. I have had a set of 88-89 moldings beside a JDM set. They are identical. I think I may start buying new moldings from the dealership, add a pinstripe and sell them for $500 a set. Anyone interested in a set?

No they are not the different I've had them side by side. Please don't argue a point you know nothing about. Heres proof for you. The below pic is of a 1988 Honda civic that is my beater. It has a JDM frontend on it. The moldings on the fender are JDM and the same as the stock molding. Identical, not a bit of discrepency. Please quit speading mis information.

If that isn't enough then here is my old beater, that I sold, and it was a 91, but with all '88 Moldings that I bought new from the dealer. I replaced the Old JDM fender moldings because they were beaten badley, but the same as the 88's that I replaced them with. I've been doing this **** for years I know my **** please don't doubt me.
