Headgasket question---Is the 90-95 the same as 96-01?

Headgasket question---Is the 90-95 the same as 96-01?
I bought a new headgasket. My block is a 95, and my head is 00. (LS). Do I need to return it if I bought a '95 headgasket? im thinking its the same thing. Maybe not?
