I have a 92 civic hatchback si with a power sunroof and mine is kind of slow too. I put a little bit of grease on the track that it slides on and it helped me out some. Not sure what else to do though

most of the times it just happens due to wear/tear.

you can try greasing up the tracks to see if that helps.

What do you mean by running slow?

over time motor just doesnt have the power.

it could also be off track a little causeing friction therefore moving slower

Mine is doing the same it opens just fine most of the time but closing is a diff. story. I got my hands on a new motor so when it get warmer I am going to pop that in and see if that will fix the issues, hopefully it will. Other than replacing the motor like others said try to grease the track and see if that helps.

Any option for replacement?

Mine crawls open and closed so I think I will be either pulling the fuse if it has it's own circuit or unplug the controls.....
