what year mini are we talking about? I've always wanted to swap a b18 into an old mini, it'll happen one day. But as far as your question, I'd imagine you're speaking of a newer mini...in which case, i don't see how fun it'd be to drive...you must have the thing stripped, in which case you can just run the wiring to your honda ecu through the firewall just as you normally would. Think of it as a honda motor in a non-honda chassis. keep everything the same. I could be way off, but nothing wrong with experimenting. The hardest part with these types of hybrids is the actual mechanical fitment of parts, so the wiring should be the easy part. Good luck!

 

yes im speaking of the older (70's) mini... The placement and mechanics dont worry me as much as the wiring/engine management.
