Towing with the Ridgeline.
My buddy is entering his highly modified Mazdaspeed Protege into HIN Chicago, and we were thinking about using my Ridgeline to trailer it there. I think it's capable, but I'm wondering if anyone has towed different vehicles with one, and their opinions/suggestions.
are you considering towing the car with a hitch/trailer?
from honda.com
STANDARD TOWING FEATURES:
• Pre-wired for 4- and 7-pin connectors
• Pre-wired for trailer brake controller
• Heavy-duty radiator with dual 160-watt fans
• Heavy-duty power steering fluid cooler
• Heavy-duty ATF cooler
• Huge front and rear brake rotors
• Closed-box frame with unit-body construction
• 5,000-lb. towing capacity
you do the math. your mazda weighs in 3000lbs MAX. the Ridgeline can tow 5k lbs... i dont think a hitch/trailer will weigh anywhere close to 2000 lbs.
