Default Rotors

Bah, my 4 lug rotors are warped so I figure I should start on my 5 lug conversion soon... Where do you guys get some good rotors and calipers and would AEM big breaks be the best way to go you think? Thanks!

First of all its spelled "BRAKES". Breaks is to cause to separate into pieces suddenly or violently; smash. Which is what happens when you dont have BRAKES.

Why do a 5 lug conversion. You don't gain much excepted a limited selection of expensive wheels. And replacing rotors is a much cheaper alternative than doing a conversion. If you really want better brakes, try a set of high performance pads first. Then if you are still not happy, contact fastbrakes.com.

The 5 lug conversion is a waste of money IMO.

.... God I hate it when I spell brakes incorrectly. Normally I'm good about those things!

I want to get the 5 lugs cause I'm getting some RSX 7 spokes cheap! Plus I think they would look damn good! I just think it gives you that cleaner, nicer look. Dont think I'm trying to copy the type R or anything... I just want these wheels on my car

Brakes Brakes Brakes... God I cant believe I did that.

Edit : Damn... On both posts too... I'm just a big idiot today.

I still think for the cost of the conversion you could get a nice set of light weight wheels and new pads for quite a bit less.

If you are set on the 5 lugs, go with a honda conversion and not the AEM. Just upgrading the front rotors will unbalance the braking system and may results in even longer stops. But I would check out fastbrakes too, it may be cheaper.

The spelling error I thought was funny because it was in both messages. I have those days too where I can't seem to spell anything correctly

Interesting, ive never heard anyone say they were doing a 5 lug because of shot rotors, oh well. If you got the bread, might as well, slap some ITR brakes on that bitch and off you go.

Yea, ok maybe I should just get those RSX wheels and sell them so I can get a better braking system all around. I guess I'll keep what I have for lugs right now and just work on suspension next. Thanks!
