lost my brakes, WTF?

Default lost my brakes, WTF?

Brand new master cylinder put in about 2 weeks ago, full brake fluid in resevoir

i was driving on the way home from work today, some lady slammed her brakes on in front of me, so i go to do the same, my foot goes all the way to the floor and i hear a really loud popping sound and then i pull over open the hood, then there is no brake fluid in the resevoir and i have no brakes now WTF is going on!!!

car is a 91 civic hatch si

simple either you didnt bleed all of the air out or there is a leak.

That loud pop was a seal. It could be the master cyl or the rear drum cyl's seals

You should see some brake fluid somewhere. That will get you close. If you don't add some more fluid and pump it through. Then look for it. It has to go somewhere.

You should not lose all of your brakes if it is the wheel cyl. So I bet it's the master cyl.

the master cyl after 2 weeks? like they aren't COMPLETELY gone but VERY VERY SHITTY, like barely stop

have your whole brake system checked out. look for leaks especially.

if you add fluid and it leaks out and you still can't find the leak unbolt the master cylinder and see if the fluid is making its way into the booster.

lol thought you meant your calipers literally fell off and you couldn't find them.

(i did that once. not my proudest moment ever, but nevertheless it happened.)
