Don't know what you mean by shorter SHIFT ****...
but my C's put the Shift **** Further from the Tape Deck..
(so the position of 1st gear now equal to OEM Neutral)..
and it's kinda angled instead of straight up...

No Problem... just Squeaking... hehe..
but it's kewl...

i have a short shifter, but I took out my armrest. I have read somewhere that the armrests were removed because they got in the way. I would think that would only happen to shorter people(no pun intended), because their arm and elbow would be lower where it migth get in the way of shifting.

I have a short shifter on my ITR the only part of the shifter that is shorter is under the car from the ball down wich creates the shorter gear throw,I don't know what you guys are talking about removing the armrest!!!!!!!!!

It really depends on you. For me the armrest gets in the way when I shift fast on the stock shifter lever.

get the B&M "shift stabilizer" kit & it will move the angle of the shifter back, so you can rest your arm on the arm rest - MUCH more comfy for racing and daily driving & since you can adjust the location with 1 bolt, I highly recommend it. Makes the shift "notchier" feel too.

jmho - I will never remove the freak'n arm rest - it's got the badge of honor + I'm lazy.
