when you start the car, turn left and right a bunch of times from lock to lock and then check the fluid again. you shoudl be good after that.

K i actualy just needed more power steering fluid but now i face another problem. the problem is that now when the car is running the sound makes this weird noise. i dont know if its cuz its pumping the fluid in or if there is too much fluid.

If its a screeching noise, it is probably a belt.

It doesnt really sounds like a screeching noise. It only happens after I put more than a certain abount of power steering fluid in it. It sounds like the pump is sucking or pushing somehting. its hard to describe.

well check to see if you have too much fluid in there. if you do you'll have to get some out some how.

you cant have too much fluid, the reservoir would overflow

you probably just have a bunch of air in the system, let it work its way out....

yes! bleed the system. you can do it on the ground but I had mine on jackstands. run the engine and keep turning the wheel back and forth, lock to lock. keep doing that for about 5-8 times. the longer your pump cavitates, the more damage is done. if it runs long enough with air, it will start to sound like a ford power steering pump all the time and you will have to buy a new one.
