I bought car for a good deal because the guy said the clutch was out of it. but when I got it home. I fired it up pushed down the clutch and tried to put it in gear. it wouldn't go. No suprise!. Next I put it in gear put my foot on the clutch right to the floor, fired it up and the car is trying to creep. I let my foot of the clutch like 1/8" and the car goes. no clutch slip?. So I bled the clutch and the car works well not problem with the clutch what so ever. so my question is. if the clutch does this again, what is causing it?

I didn't know the hydro clutches had ajustment. I know there are 2 settings on the peddle itseft. but i didn't know you could ajust it.

 

there should be a threaded rod goin to the master cylinder. this is where the adjustment it. you should have 1/2 - 3/4 an inch of free play.
