Hey Y'all.. i have a question regarding my tranny..
I Got the car with the automatic tranny. here is the problem...
as y'all know when u driving you can change from D4,D3,D2,D1 by just pushing the button on the stick for the automatic tranny..
and as y'all know you can change between those gears when parked by pressing down on the break.. now.. when park and having my e-break on.. i can move between the D4-D3 without hitting the break nor pusshing the button, not to mentioned that the light on the dashboard does not light on when i have it on D4. btu it does light up on D3.. and when driving with D4 i hear a clacking noise anytime the tranny will do automatic gear change..
my question is it normal for you to be able to change between D4-D3 when the car isnt moving without pressing down on the break nor pushing the button on the stick?

Yeah It is normal because I can change between D3 and D4 with pressing the button or having my foot on the brake and my D4 light bulb on the panel is also burnt out I have to replace it I would advise you to get the tranny checked out for the clanking noise that can't be good.

Are you retarted? Look at my post I clearly stated that mine does that too and it is normal that you can change it w/o pressing brake or the button..
