i a crx with a ek9 motor in it when i goes above 6500 rpms the motor starts to kick and fart a little now a while back i have a problem with some new spark plug wires but i fix and it was working fine for a while then it started also when im just crewsing along stead it sometimes just back fires or like the car kicks back. i just changed the sparkplugs! dizzy is new and was working fine. it idleing rough too like goes up and down ion rpms over and over again sometimes but its always done that since the motor swap! please help any ideas just did a valve adjustment to like 6 months ago but was fine in between just started doing this ****... let me know maybe bad injectors or something because you can kind of hear them firing it sounds like a light valve tap thats why i adjusted my vavles. all valves and springs and retainers are new (skunk2's) ..... let me know thanks

 

never mind that last thread i broke down last night and had to get it towed home it turned out to be the hole time the coil pack in the dizzy was bad i changed it and now its fine was cause misfires and then no spark at all i replaced coil pack and now works better then ever thanks anyway tho...

 

Glad to hear you figured it out, I have the same problem with my Civic, I'm gonna look into gettin a new coil now. :-)

 

i was gonna say sounds like a fuel delivery issue...glad you found the culprit.
