Do i have to take off the front bumper in order to get to replace the horn? or can i access the horn from underneath the car?

did you check the fuse?
you might be able to get it reaching through the grille if you have teeny hands, but not from under the car; the lower part of the bumper will be in the way. it's not that hard to take it off anyway, so you might as well.

It will be a lot easier to take off the bumper, giving you more room. Time to upgrade to a real horn...

i installed another horn by jacking up the front of my car and working from underneath it... its on the passenger side of the car, pretty easy to reach.

a little too easy actually... I got my GSR (factory alarm) as a theft recovery that had been stripped out. when I got it all back together i discovered the horn wasn't working, looked around and the wire to the horn had been snipped. I guess the theives reached down and snipped the horn wire, so when they smashed in the window the alarm couldn't do anything.

The bolts should be easy to take off. If you're referring to the screws, pound them slightly before you turn them.

use a screwdriver bit on a ratchet to allow you to put more pressure, or use vise grips.

i'm sure an impact screwdriver would work wonderfully.
