what does the map sensor do? would this make my car bogg down ? because my ecu is throwing a 3 and five.but the 5 is from the exhaust cause its on headers only.please help
I remember when I plugged my MAP sensor with the wrong vac hose it bogged very, very badly, barely made it home from the shop. I was thinking wtf? and then I looked at the diagram and sure enough I plugged it wrong. I put it back the right way and car didn't bog anymore.
the map sensor the is ecu's main source of information on how much fuel to give the engine, so yes it could make the car bog if there was a problem with it. check the vacumm line going to the map, if its still messed up try replacing it with a known good one.
