CF fenders are pointless IMO. they weigh just about the same

I personally like the look of just using the hood part of the bra...the fender parts are pretty ineffective. And I like the protection from rock chips it provides.
That being said, bras are a pain in the ***. Not only are you supposed to take it off and clean under it pretty often, you're supposed to remove it if it gets wet, let it dry, clean the hood again and then put it back on.
If you don't follow this regimen...
the dirt sits between the bra and the hood. As the bra moves just a little, it starts creating tiny little scratches. Add a good soaking and leave it to dry slowly in the sun and it will cook your clearcoat to a nice hazy white.
If you want the protection without all the maintenance, look into Lamin-X or stoneguard type of films...they are nearly invisible and don't need any real maintenance. They have a useful life of a couple years. After that, it start to show a little more. But its easy and pretty cheap to replace.

i thought about the black rims and polished lip but too many people have that... i enjoy being a little bit different... i had a carbon fiber hood on there but i liked the way it looked with a white hood... i might be changing it back when my c/f fenders come in and complete the black front end

So he can be like everyone else, yes right on!
I dig it. I like the bra, I like the idea of the Carbon Fiber Fenders, and I think the green wheels look great (Id like to see a close up on the paint job of the wheels).
Regardless, if you like it, rock it.

I agree with what this guy said...

But in the end it's all about what you like... And I don't understand how Carbon Fiber fenders weigh almost the same as sheet metal fenders... I figured between both fenders there'd by atleast a 20-30 pound difference???

What ever floats your boat. If you like it then thats all that matters. I am not really a fan of the rims or bra. BTW dont put CF fenders on your car. LOL
