If you have that much love for your car, and your girl doesn't understand, she's the wrong girl for you, obviously. Mine bought me stainless brake lines for x-mas, and is going to help install them this comming weekend. She also bought a Comptech rear swaybar for me last b-day. Its all about finding the right girl.

I have been through that many times before, lol i was doing a 350 swap to a 87 rx7 and the girl hated that i spent to much time on the car.

After all this i have learned if you actually care about the girl you will find time to spend with her. My current girl deosn't like me spending time with my car but I setup things for her to do with her girl friends or send her out to get her to a spa. You can also set up a day to just go out with her or stay home and spend some time together. Though finding a chick that is also into cars is also a plus, even when they want to work on there own.
