u can check it
all u have to do is turn the key and it should make a click noise u know its workin i fixed like mine 3 times becuase they fail alot. plus i was gettin it at a junk yard i found one i have goodluck with now

 

no fuel is reaching the engine and ive read through the forums that the main relay being out makes the fuel pump faulty or whatev

can you buy a new one tho?

 

yeah, the main relay is probably a part that you have to get from the dealer, when i bought mine i think it was about 80 bucks new. You should be able to hear both the fuel pump and the main relay turn on when you turn on the accessories, just listen closely for the fuel pump- kind of hard to hear, but the relay will click, you can even feel it if you put your hand on it, right above the hood relase.
