i have a b16 in my 91 civic and its obd0 , and the distributor is bad , i have a friend who has a 90-91 integra gs that is obd0, can i swap out my distributor for his?????? thanks

 

i think you have to modify it to make it work.

 

Modified it will work, but the internals of the dizzy are not designed for the higher revs that you will probably take the B16 to. It would be atemp fix, but I suggest looking into getting a replacement B16A dizzy.

 

ok so no other distributor will work other than a obd0 distributor from a b16a???? also what kind of mods would i need to do as far as putting in the integra distributor???? thanks again for the help

 

i would just buy a replacement from a parts store it has a warranty.

What is wrong with the Dizzy? If it is an ignitor or a coil you can swap them. The only reason to ditch the whole dizzy is if the bearings went out in it, even that I suppose could be fixxed.

 

well the problem is that my car is throwing a code 4 , and thats the cranks angle sensor , people said that if that is bad might as well get a new dizzy, sooo...i thought thats what needed to be done .......what happens is it will occationaly start up but then it just dies and it also wont let me rev past 3k, so i have no idea what it is, im thinkin about just takin it in just to see whats wrong, unless anyone here can help me, that would be awesome, soo yea thats whats goin on ...thanks
