Default Heat shield for cat

i just installed a high flow cat and when i installed it i didnt put on the heat shield. will that be okay? it wont like overheat all the piping and the transmission which is right next to it...thankx

Many have done it and I haven't heard any horry stories. They tend to rattle or get rattled against something, namely the shifter, and the easiest solution is to remove them. I cut a square out of mine to give access to the shifter.

o cool thanks man, im just a little worried cuz i drive about 100+ miles a day and i thought it might get overheated or something.
