Default pictures of a b20 in a DA

ive been searching for pics of a b20 in a DA....i just bought a JDM b20....i want to see how it fits,,,im werryed about the intake manifold clearance...and of course the engine is outta an automatic CRV....so i wanna see how my b18 tranny is mounted...(not good with tranny werk yet),,,,, the only reason i got a b20 is cause of the torque and compression...better to build vtec on then ls...anyways pics would be much appreciated THANX!

well youre right about one thing; it has better torque. BUT, im pretty sure the LS has higher compression than the b20.

why do you need pictures, it looks exactly like your stock ls motor. And about the intake mani clearance, you'll be using your old one, so there wont be any problems.

yup the only thing that will be different is the valve cover you get the 96+ ls valve cover.

yes any and all bolt ons for the ls will fit the b20b or b20z.

the b20b has 8.8:1
the b20z has 9.6:1

to determine if your engine is higher compression look for a knock sensor on the back of the block.

and here you go.

if i get a b20 i would raise the compression to 12:5.1.
B20b stock compression is 8:8.1
not very much
B20z is 9:2.1 still not very much.
Is good for turbo but im a all motor fan.

yep. nice observation.
the only difference - bore size, intake manifold, exhuast manifold and valve cover. oh, if you are lucky and get a P8R head, you have 33mm intake valves, bigger itnake ports, better cams and 84mm combustion chambers.

I can show you what a B20 with 11.5:1 compression looks like. But mine has a vtec head.
