ive been searching and reading around, i read that a 1g and 2g dsm manifold will fit on a f-series if it is re-drilled and the ports are matched. does it have to be the stock manifold, or could i get an aftermarket 1g dsm manifold and would it still work. also, do i need the side mount intercooler, or could i upgrade to a front mount. im not looking on making lots of power until summer, when i can get out of school and work again to build the motor. i found f22parts.com, but their manifolds are a little pricey for what i want to spend now. if i get a front mount intercooler, and a pipe kit, then will a BOV flange have to be welded on? where would it be located. i am noob to aftermarket turbos, but am kinda farmiliar with them being as my g/f has a WRX. and help would be nice.
