I don't know if this is the first time it has been done but I found a mugen style gen 4 wing on ebay... as the proud owner of some authentic rare **** (buddy club lip, mugen wing, etc.) It was a very sad day indeed. Especially since my buddy bought one and we live in a town of 2000 people, now theres 2 preludes with these oh so rare wings... utter disgust. Uhhhh, it says the item is old stock and he is trying to get rid of it . . . I don't think they are banging out mass produced copies. Even if there was a replica wing available, only like 100 people would have it.

Mugen **** is way overpriced and they can do that because people pay for the name, so w/o the name they can do that.

why would anyone think all the money should go into performance?? Some are concern about going fast others appearance, bling etc; so is a waste of money to the one concerned with performance. In my case that wing was the last exterior piece I was missing to complete my exterior, I got the complete Mugen aero package Bumper/lenses, Mugen skirts and the new wing. Pics of my car will be in the show room this spring after the bodyshop paints the car and install the pieces . As far as performance my usdm vtec is fast and fun enough for me at the mean time

 

you guys are all full of ******* ****, we're all on here because we take pride in paying for a name, we take pride in buying the best and yes we all have an elitest attitude toward 5.0's and other domestics. I agree with Bokchoy. He bought his wing to be original and unique. He had to pay a price for it too. It sux that someone steals the design and sells it so that anyone can buy it. I agree with him!! It sux!!

 

I agree to that it sucks that companies are making parts copying a rare piece, and it also sucks that something you bought to be original can basically be seen anywhere now because of ebay companies. but if you think of it with the whole copying thing you have performance companies with names as well that copy certain designs/specs and charge half the price for it. one of the things that the person that bought the actual mugen wing has is the quality that it was made from. those 100 dollar ones are pieces of **** usually and require more sanding and such. so basically what im getting at is that you can still take pride in buying an original because you know you actually have that original piece and not just some POS knock off.
