Default B16a CRX boggin out

hey whats going on im new to this stuff but i swapped in a b16a first gen into my crx dx it runs fine but i didnt wire up the o2 sensors now i just put a straight pipe from the headers to an invidia n1 catback and ran a pr3 spoon chipped and programmed ecu in the car and i think its runnin to rich because it will sometimes feel likes its backfiring on me and than shut off on me. i should most likely run the o2 sensors? please help if possible thank you

You need the O2 sensor or the PR3 ECU will cause the car to run rich to protect itself. Check the service light on the ECU to see if its throwing a code!

at wide open throttle the ecu doesn't read the o2 sensor. I'm thinking its probly a bad chip you've got. If you were running that rich that it would shut down you would be puffing ALOT of smoke.

if your O2 isn't hooked up u will be in open loop and it will run preset diamaters and will not bog or die

yeah today i went and i ran the o2 sensors wired them up and it boggs out on me around like 2500 3000 somewhere between there its pissin me off but i think i may have a bad ecu because before i put that computer in i didnt have the o2 ran and the thing ran fine it threw the o2 code but thats just stupid soo i think i may have a bad chipped ecu i wouldnt doubt it
