Default SIR Wing Installation and hardware Questions

Hey guys i just bought an sir wing from japan. underneath on both ends of the mounting points there are these plastic peices that stick down does anyone know what they are ? also how hard is the install ? i will get pics soon sorry if its a bit confusing

Heres a quick how to.... its pretty straightforward.

first open up the hatch and undo the bolts holding the spoiler on.


of course disconnect the light plug as you will be using it for the jdm spoiler.


next test fit the jdm spoiler, you will notice how it overlaps the oem weather stripping and does not fit flush. This is where a razor blade comes in handy. Mark as close as you can to where the spoiler would fit flush and cut the weather stripping.


should end up like this.


now just reconnect the light plug, re mount the spoiler and your done.

your just supposed to drill holes where those plastic tabs are. Just keeps it more snug. I just opted to shave them off and install using the screws.

hmotors has the jdm wing cheaper than password i have not been able to find a cf one

I have a few JDM ones that I have collected. They are honestly the cleanest SiR wings I have ever seen on ebay or from password. If the price is right I might sell one and No I wont take a 100 dollars. 200 or more and I will consider it just because of the condition they are in. 2 black ones and 1 grey one.
