Well .... I AM saying that you are driving a 240sx NOT an S-13 or S-14 ...... posing = ghey ..... just call it what it is, not what you wish it was.

Actually this is nothing like calling your 92 Civic hatch an EG6. 240s ARE S13s and S14s. You can check the VINs.

 

hmmm, last time I checked my 240sx had the S13 chasis, just going by what my VIN states, now me calling my S13 a Silvia would be "ghey"

I don't call my Civic an ED9 ...... because no one would know what the hell it was. Same reason I never called my R a DC2R .........

Its a 240, you should just call it that. By saying "it's an S-13" everyone is going to think you have an imported right hand drive Silvia with some variant of an SR instead of a KA24DE equipped car. Yeah, you may have an SR going into one soon, but ........

You've been there with the R, you know how much you hated people that posed as R's that really weren't.

well the 240 crowd seems to know when I say it, its kinda like a quick ID, why say I got a 89-93 style 240sx or 95-98 style 240sx?? why not just say S13 or S14, can I say it just for the sake of being lazy???
Just points out what body style I got, thats all I feel its saying....

 

You can call it whatever you want, it's your car.

But if it was a case of the owner trying to pose as a real JSpec S-13 or S-14 ..... then. Just MHO.
