As you may have noticed by my Username, I am a little long in the tooth and, as such, have the proverbial back problems. Racing seats are fine for short excursions, but I need the comfort of the stock seats for any driving more than 30 minutes.

Of course, I want the best of both worlds and have pondered the possibility of lowering my stock seats to (1) lower the center of gravity, (2) improve driving comfort with legs extended, and (3) to be cool!

Has anyone ever tried to lower their seats and, if so, how was it accomplished?
