H3C to H3 conversion
i just did mine a week ago or so, real easy. http://absoluteprelude.com/for...ID=89 follow these directions and u should be good. any questions? just ask me, i should be able to cover them

I was thinking of the same question.... and I believe that wire is served for a ground.. thats why you have to sand down those couple parts of the black spring clip...

the H3C bulb is just a bulb with a ground and a positive plug attached, but the H3 bulb has a power wire, and then uses the actual bulb as the ground, but to get it to work, u need to somehow get a wire to feed from the bulb to the socket where the H3C would usually plug into. thats what the extra wire is for. once u have them, and look at what u are going to do, it should make sense.
