Vafc install on an 88 Si (VTM wire ?)

Default Vafc install on an 88 Si (VTM wire ?)
I have heard that only obd II cars use the vtm signal. I installed my vafc and now my car wont start (code 15) which has somthing to do with the ignition signal. I guess im going to reconnect the wire the was believed to be the vtm wire. Anyone have any experience with installing this on an 88 SI.

Are you using the S-AFC or the V-AFC...and is this on a stock motor.
