gsr with b16 head?
anyone done this? some guys say the b16 head flows better single stage intake manifold etc...is this a worthwile mod? i have seen b16 heads go for 700ish you can sell a gsr head for almost the same price...and just dump some cams into the b16 head. i was thinking about doing a mild port and polish to my head but i cannot afford the downtime as this i my only car. Opinions? is it a direct bolton onto the gsr block?
I am rebuilding my gsr with a b16 head...
I am sending it to portflow for a p/p job to help with flow...
the head is a direct fit... it will lower your compression by about .2 or so, but makes up for it in flow...

i'm adding a itr head to my car and then turbocharging it. not really the same but they are close. and you can find them cheaper than 700. As a matter of fact my friend will probably be selling his sometime next week. He was going to put it on ebay but i'm sure i can talk him into giving you first dibs if you offer him enough. If your interested email me.

Yes... the stock b16 flows better than the stock b18.... the combustion chamber is also slightly larger... With a p/p on both... the difference in flow might not be to noticeable... but that depends on the quality of the p/p....
