No way your going to fit 235's under there, the 205s are ok but not in a 45 profile. I know there is a formula to figure out the overall diameter of the tire/wheel combo but I can't remember it since I have not used it in about 3 years (when I used to sell wheels), I will try to dig it up but in the mean time 205x40x17 is really the biggest tire you can run w/o rubbing or throwing of your speedo too much. the TSWs are WAY too heavy compared to lighter wheels out today and would kill your acceleration, TSWs are soo much bettter on german cars due to their TUV approval (Thus preventing them from being to light) EFs just are not great cars for these heavy wheels, I say sale them and buy something that will be much lighter. If I remember correctly the tire/wheel combo for TSW 17's is in the neigborhood of 45lbs per one, something like a 15 inch Rota wheel (or something similair) with tires are only about 32 lbs, Taking weight off the wheels is MUCH more effective than anywhere else on the Vehicle (Unsprung weight) and in this case you would shed around 50+ lbs. Trust me when I say you will Love the lighter wheels far and beyond what the TSWs will provide.

your speedo will be off 6 percent
you would have to run a 35 series to keep it the same

Damn those must be new because I never heard of that size before, they definetely were not available just a few years ago. The ride quality must really suck with that type of rubber band sidewall, would look HOT though..

By the way, who all makes the 205x35x17s??

Yea 40s not much better either but the handling is pretty bad ***!, I have not run a 40 series for about 3 years since I have had light wieght Rotas with 195x50x15s. Once I saw how much faster I accelerated with the new 15s I never looked back. I'm still a sucker for some low pros though, they just look sick on some nice wheels like Volks or something similiar.
