bought a siR lip but..
i boguht a siR lip but in my excitment i overlooked that it only fits jdm bumpers, i have usdm. It hasnt arrived yet and i want to know why it wont fit and wuts different about them, how would i go abot modding it to fit my bumper? im sure it can be done, might as well try. Advice on this would be greatly appreciated

If it's a CRX lip your talking about then passwordjdm says the lip will fit USDM with a little modification, here is the quote from their site:
"please note that this lip will fit both the JDM front end AND the 90-91 US CRX front end with minor trimming of the trim piece that curves into the fog light hole of the JDM EF8 bumper"

I have an Si-R OEM lip on my USDM CRX. The lip is indeed longer all the way around. It fits but you can tell it is the wrong lip. On some spots the lip is about 1/4 inch away from the bumper. It looks allright, not 100%

yes, its the 88-91 hb sir front lip from password:JDM, i bought the fiberglass one for 99.99 although i could be robbing the world of a jdm lip, i might mod it. my buddy have a gsr and he bought a type r lip, he came into the same problems, we softened it up with a torch and it fits perfectly. we fucked his up a bit mind you, just gotta be careful this time. Another thing id like to know, the side diffusers, are they flush with the bottom of the car? or do they hang down like side skirts? thanks
