Hey guys whats up,

Ok, so I had this hose crack open on me, Happens to be one of the....
3 Or 4 hoses in the entire engine bay I didnt replace when I changed my Headgasket.

So, yeah, my luck.

Anyway, I tried to get hose from the local AutoZone, but it just kinks up,
Becuase of the angle that this hose is,

Here are the pics, I searched and found nothing, Please help asap.

Well, Guys C'mon help me out,

I tried searching, H-T, G2IC, I went to delrayacura.com but couldnt find the part #'s manuals etc...

Edit: Yes, I know other hoses are not connnected.
This was to help me get to the hose that cracked.

 

Hmm, Where did you get this picture, becuase I dont think thats for my engine.

It does not show the Hoses I'm talking about, which is a coolent hose.

that pic cant be for my engine.
Its showing the Hose that I took of should be connected to the Air Breather, But this is a <U>Coolent Hose</U>

Have you tried a normal hose? Seems like its not that much of a bend so it shouldnt collapse.

 

yeah^ thats what i'd try. as long as its not a drastic bend, then you can go to the parts store and buy some bulk hose that size. they sell it by the foot for probly a couple bucks.

 

cant you get a 3/8in hose and just cut it???

 

seems like he tried to get the normal hose in the first pic and it just kinked up. what about just getting a hose like that, but getting like a bend for it inbetween two pieces of hose (something metal). only thing is u might not have enough room.

 

id say just roll with the cut some other hose. seems to be easiest

 

Where the hose kinks, all you have to do is put a clamp on that kink and it will no longer be kinked

Or you can find a spring that has the same diameter and slip it over the hose where it kinks. It will basically do the same thing as the clamp is doing.

Yeah I tried it with a normal hose and kinked up,

I cut the hose a little shorter and I got it to fit.

i filled up with antifreeze etc...

its doing fine,

Only problem is It doesnt have clamps so right now its just slipped on there enuf to hold. And I worried about that.


The parts is $3 from Acura, But I cant get it untill Monday,

I'm hoping it doesnt pop off tnoight so I'm taking extra hose, and alll the tools to do the job in a Worst case problem accurs,

Edit: it doesnt look bad but the top nipple is almost above the lower one,
