What is this box?

Default What is this box?

When stripping my CRX, I pulled a grayish box off the right side of the heater under the dash, it has a single plug and is about 4"x4"x1". Couldn't find any info in the factory manual.

won't be able to for a day at least but will do, its really just a gray box, i think the female harness plug is yellow

I think it has something to do with the "passive" seat belts.

WHOA! Is that CRX from canadia or something? I didn't know or think that they had auto seat belts. Can someone verify this?

actually yes there was a thread here a while ago, its a sensor for the seat belts if you search similar key words in the search function you might find the thread. But yes its def a seat belt thing.

what they mean by automatic seat belts is not that they retract automatically - it means that if you hit something, the seat belts automatically lock-up and won't pull out freely

that page that i posted above is from USDM 91 CRX factory manual
