is there anyone out there using a 5th gen. aem cai on their 4th gen. h23a or h22a.

reason i ask is because the 5th gen. has 3inch piping while the 4th gen. is only 2.75inches according to aem. now the itr has a 3 inch aem cai so i figure there has to be a reason for it.

just trying to plan ahead as i plan to purchase the smsp header for more flow. already have an underhood intake but i've used cai's with my old cars with better performance.

anyone out there?

i know the bracket has to be rewelded but wondering if there were anyother problems.
